BioWriting only works with clients involved with healthcare and the development and marketing of healthcare products. The biopharmaceutical industry is highly specialized. Our typical client is a small to mid-sized biotechnology company located in Europe or Asia. The client’s senior management team speaks English and is capable of communicating in written English for everyday purposes but is not confident that the English versions of official corporate documents or promotional materials are as effective as they could be.

Our clients worry about grammar and usage errors. They worry about marketing effectiveness. They don’t need a translator; they need a partner who will faithfully enhance their documents so that

1) substandard business English does not detract from the message they are trying to communicate and even potentially embarrass the company,

2) communications are at least as persuasive and effective as they would be if they were written in their native language,

3) no technical sense is lost or compromised, and

4) improvements based upon many years' experience working with similar documents can considered.

Confidentiality

BioWriting is happy to sign any reasonable confidentiality agreement with our clients. It is our standard practice NOT to discuss any client or project information with any third party under any circumstances nor do we solicit client testimonials. We allow the quality and value of our work to speak for itself. We will be happy to provide you with a free paragraph-length sample of our work upon request.

Pricing

All projects are priced individually. Pricing is dependent upon the following elements:

1) Document length

2) Quality of the original English

3) Level of involvement requested

4) Turnaround time requested

We request that potential clients send us at least a short excerpt from the document to be edited.

Though all text must be in English, we are comfortable working from incomplete notes and ideas (often supplemented with phone conversations or meetings) and with third-party translators to create an outstanding finished product.

BioWriting continues to consult on projects until the client is happy with the finished product.
